Community Medical Center in Montana Breaks Ground on Cancer Center; Opens Women's Center, NICU

Community Medical Center in Missoula, Mont., has broken ground on a $6.5 million new oncology center and is preparing to open its $17 million new Women's Health Center and neonatal intensive care unit, according to an NBC Montana report.

The oncology center will be four times the size of the current facility, and is expected to open in November 2013.

The new Women's Health Center includes labor and delivery units with private rooms. The NICU is three times the size of the former unit, and also has private rooms. The labor and delivery units and NICU will open Oct. 22.
