Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center has announced it will build a $118 million proton therapy center on its Liberty Township, Ohio, campus, according to a report from the Journal News.
Construction on the 80,000-square-foot center will begin by the end of 2013 and will also include an expansion of inpatient beds at the Liberty Township campus on a new fourth floor addition.
The proton center will be completed in approximately three years, according to the hospital. Once finished, the center will house two proton treatment rooms with the potential for further expansion.
