Schaumburg, Ill.-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America is planning an $84.1 million patient tower at Midwest Regional Medical Center in Zion, Ill., one of five cancer hospitals across the country that it operates, according to a Crain's Chicago Business report.
The tower will include all private patient rooms as well as 48 guest rooms for patients' family members.
CTCA has filed an application for the expansion with the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, according to the report.
