Winfield, Ill.-based Cadence Health will buy out the stake of partner ProCure Treatment Centers Inc., a national company specializing in proton therapy, in the organizations' shared cancer center, according to a Crain's Chicago Business report.
The $25 million transaction will increase Cadence Health's stake in the CDH Proton Center in Warrenville, Ill., a collaboration between the two organizations, from 12 percent to 81 percent, according to the report.
Launched as a startup in 2005, ProCure is currently undergoing a financial restructuring, according to the report.
