Boston Children's Hospital is in the early stages of proposing a new clinical building that would include a 30-bed neonatal unit, according to a Mission Hill Gazette report.
The building is part of the hospital's amendment to its master plan that it plans to file with the Boston Redevelopment Authority this month, according to the report.
Preliminary plans show the 41,000-square-foot facility would connect to another Boston Children's Hospital building via a skywalk. The building would also house a center of excellence staffed by several different specialists.
