Pittsfield, Mass.-based Berkshire Health Systems has completed the first phase of its $30 million cancer center at the BMC Hillcrest campus in Pittsfield, according to a Berkshire Eagle report.
The first phase, located in an existing building on the campus, includes office space for the Berkshire Hematology Oncology physician practice, an infusion suite and a pharmacy.
The second phase includes the construction of a 49,893-square-foot facility, which is expected to be completed by winter. The third and final phase is slated to be completed by 2014, according to the report.
