The American Academy of Neurology Foundation announced it is changing its name to the American Brain Foundation.
The name change is part of a rebranding campaign as the foundation works to become the leader in raising funds for research to cure brain diseases, according to the release. The campaign is also issuing new ads to educate healthcare professionals and the public on the need for financial support of brain disease research.
The foundation has raised more than $16 million since 1993.
