St. Vincent Health in Indiana Announces Hospital Expansion Plans

St. Vincent Health has announced plans to expand St. Vincent Health Medical Center Northeast in Fishers, Ind., according to an Indianapolis Star report.

The hospital will be expanded by approximately 11,000 square feet and will feature 30 medical/surgical beds and 10 labor/delivery beds, according to the report. St. Vincent Health Medical Center Northeast currently operates as a standalone emergency department, and any patients needing hospitalization are transferred to another St. Vincent facility. Construction is expected to begin in September and finish Dec. 2012.
