St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, N.J., has laid off 37 employees due to lower reimbursements and patient admissions and changes from healthcare reform, according to a Times report.
According to President and CEO Jerry Jablonowski, the layoffs affected 20 leadership roles and 17 staff members as the hospital consolidated some departments. Affected employees received a severance package and continuation of benefits, according to the report.
