Sonoma Valley Healthcare District in California Settles on $38M Renovation to Meet Seismic Standards

Sonoma (Calif.) Valley Healthcare District has proposed a $38 million plan to renovate Sonoma Valley Hospital in order to meet seismic standards by the state-enforced March 2013 deadline, according to a North Bay Business Journal report.

The plan includes a 9,000-square-foot addition to the hospital, a new surgical unit, emergency department and triage station and a reconfigured parking lot, among other changes, according to the report. Construction is expected to begin next March.
