Five Hospitals Get Credit Downgrades in Last 30 Days

Five hospitals in the United States received credit downgrades between Aug. 15 and Sept. 15, according to a report by HFA Partners.

The hospitals receiving the downgrades include:

•    Lower Bucks Hospital (Bristol, Pa.) — Downgraded from Caaa3 to Ca
•    Marietta (Ohio) Area Health Care — Downgraded from Ba1 to Ba2
•    Memorial University Medical Center (Savannah, Ga.) — Downgraded from BBB- to BB+
•    Northern Berkshire Healthcare (North Adams, Mass.)— Downgraded from BB to CCC
•    Valley Baptist Medical Center (Harlingen, Texas) — Downgraded from BBB to BB
