The program at SSM DePaul will focus on bundled payments for orthopedic care, which is generally episodic. SSM St. Mary's will focus on bundled payments for congestive Heart Failure.
SSM Health Care — St. Louis began a collaborative venture with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Missouri to pilot bundled payments for orthopedics done at SSM DePaul Joint Replacement Center in March 2011.
