Florida Hospital DeLand has broken ground on a $3.5 million addition, according to a News-Journal Online report.
The 6,740-square-foot addition will include a third cardiac catheterization lab and a second special procedures lab. The addition is part of an effort to expand cardiovascular services, hospital officials said.
The addition is slated to open in December, according to the report.
