Advocate Eureka (Ill.) Hospital is planning a $13 million expansion, according to a Journal Star report.
The 28,000-square-foot expansion will nearly double the number of patient rooms and renovate operating rooms. The hospital will also add 11 new single-patient rooms. One of the new rooms will be an airborne isolation room for particularly sensitive patients, according to the report.
