Vincent Tammaro was appointed executive vice president and CFO of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System, and CFO of Yale New Haven Hospital.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Tammaro.
1. Mr. Tammaro began at YNHHS in 2002 as director of financial reporting and was promoted to senior vice president of corporate finance in 2012.
2. During his tenure with YNHHS, Mr. Tammaro has been a big part of initiatives such as the system's acquisition and integration of Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven.
3. Mr. Tammaro started his career at Sound Shore Medical Center, now Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, in New Rochelle, N.Y., before joining Ernst and Young as a practicing certified public accountant.
