Mike Lieb has been appointed interim CEO of Powell (Wyo.) Valley Healthcare until a permanent replacement is found, according to a Powell Tribune report.
Mr. Lieb's appointment comes after former CEO Paul Cardwell submitted his resignation in mid-September to the health system and HealthTech Management Services, which employed Mr. Cardwell for his management of the health system.
A week after his resignation, Mr. Cardwell had a change of heart and asked the health system and HealthTech Management to return as CEO. After an executive session and public meeting, HealthTech Management stated Mr. Cardwell's resignation was still in effect. Neil Todhunter, regional vice president for HealthTech, served as interim CEO for a short period before Mr. Lieb was brought on board.
