Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center appointed Theresa Dix chief nursing officer.
Ms. Dix, who assumed her new role Aug. 4, most recently served as CNO of Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va. She worked at the Wytheville hospital for 36 years, serving in several leadership roles, including as director of surgical services.
Ms. Dix is a member of the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association Quality Council, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety.
