Batesville, Ark.-based White River Health System appointed four new members to its executive team.
Jeff Reifsteck was named assistant vice president and CIO. He joined the health system in May 2015 as director of information systems. He holds a master's in healthcare administration from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Chris Steel, MD, will serve as White River Health System's new vice president and chief quality officer. Dr. Steel has worked at the health system since 2011, when he joined as director of anesthesia services.
Lindsey Castleberry was appointed vice president of human resources and general counsel, and Jody Smotherman was named vice president of community engagement.
Mr. Castleberry joined White River Health System as in-house legal counsel in 2015. He holds a doctorate in law from the University of Arkansas School Of Law in Fayetteville.
Mr. Smotherman has worked at the health system for more than 15 years, serving in several leadership roles, including associate administrator of graduate medical education and hospital medicine program director.
