Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg has named Jennifer Koepke, RN, BSN, vice president of patient care services and CNO.
Here are five things to know about Ms. Koepke.
1. She began her job as CNO March 14.
2. She has worked at WMMC in various roles including director of quality/risk management, Quality Pillar Council chairwoman and most recently as interim CNO since September 2015.
3. During her tenure at WMMC, she led four successful Joint Commission surveys and participated in efforts that led to WMMC receiving national certifications through The Joint Commission in total hip and total knee replacement and normal delivery, according to a news release. She also participated in efforts that enabled WMMC to achieve national accreditation by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
4. Ms. Koepke earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and a master's degree in health services administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
5. She has been a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality for more than a decade.
