Western Arizona Regional Medical Center names Aaron Hazzard interim CEO: 4 notes

Bullhead City-based Western Arizona Regional Medical Center appointed Aaron Hazzard interim CEO, according to a Mohave Valley Daily News report.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Hazzard replaces Alex Villa, who resigned to take on the CEO role at Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville (Tenn.).

2. Mr. Hazzard has extensive experience in translational management, having served as interim CEO at other facilities, such as Moses Taylor Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Scranton, Pa.

3. Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is a part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Services, as are Moses Taylor Hospital and Mercy Hospital.

4. Mr. Hazzard earned a master's degree in healthcare administration at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
