York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health appointed Jason Trout vice president of philanthropy and chief development officer for the system.

1. Most recently, Mr. Trout served as WellSpan's regional chief development officer for Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
2. He previously served as vice president of development and community affairs at Lebanon, Pa.-based Good Samaritan Hospital, which affiliated with WellSpan in July 2015.
3. With 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, Mr. Trout will lead the development efforts of WellSpan's foundations and development offices as well as oversee system-wide fundraising programs.
4. WellSpan Health is an integrated health system that includes six hospitals, a multispecialty medical group of more than 1,200 clinicians, a home care organization and more than 130 patient care locations.
