UT Health Athens (Texas) hospital selected C. Scott Campbell to serve as CEO, according to an Athens Review report.
Mr. Campbell became interim CEO of the hospital in mid-March. He previously was CEO of Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart hospital in Panama City, Fla.
A healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Campbell has served as CEO at hospitals in several locations, including Lancaster, Pa., and Columbia, S.C.
He holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
