UPMC Altoona (Pa.) selected Michael Corso to serve as vice president of operations.
Here are three points:
1. Mr. Corso most recently served as executive director of imaging services at the hospital.
2. As vice president, he will gain administrative oversight of UPMC Altoona's Heart and Vascular Institute in addition to some of his current responsibilities.
3. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa.
