Brian Sinotte has been appointed CEO of UP Health System – Marquette (Mich.), effective Aug. 15.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Sinotte.
1. In his new role, he replaces Trent Crable, who announced his decision to step down from the position earlier in July.
2. Most recently, Mr. Sinotte was CEO of Maria Parham Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint Healthcare facility in Henderson, N.C.
3. Prior to joining MPMC, he was CEO of MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue South, Ill. There, he led strategic initiatives to improve financial operations at the hospital as well as enhance employee engagement, physician engagement and recruitment, UP Health System - Marquette said.
4. Mr. Sinotte earned a bachelor's degree from Saint John’s University in Collegetown, Minn. He also earned a master's degree in healthcare administration and a master's degree in business administration from University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis.
