Mobile-based University of South Alabama Health System tapped Owen Bailey to serve as senior associate vice president for medical affairs and CEO.

1. Most recently, Mr. Bailey served as COO of the health system.
2. Prior to that, he was administrator of USA Children’s & Women's Hospital in Mobile.
3. He came to USA Health System from Mobile-based Infirmary Health System, where he served as an executive vice president.
4. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a past chairman of the Southwest Council for the Alabama Hospital Association.
5. Mr. Bailey holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
