Bradley Haws was named CEO of Iowa City-based University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and associate vice president of University of Iowa Health Care, effective Nov. 29.
Mr. Haws brings more than three decades of healthcare leadership experience to the role, according to a news release.
Most recently, he served as CFO of Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare. He also previously served as CFO and associate vice president of UI Health Care in Iowa City from 2018 to 2021.
In his new role, Mr. Haws succeeds Kim Hunter, DNP, RN, who has served as interim CEO of UI Hospitals & Clinics since 2022, according to the release. Dr. Hunter will continue to serve as chief nurse executive for the organization.
