University of Chicago Medicine names Brian Sinotte division president, Ingalls Memorial Hospital leader

University of Chicago Medicine appointed Brian Sinotte president of its Community Health and Hospital Division and of Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill., effective July 1.

Mr. Sinotte has worked at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Duke LifePoint Healthcare since 2015, serving in several leadership roles, including CEO of Maria Parham Health in Henderson, N.C., He most recently was market president of Marquette, Mich.-based UP Health System.

He holds a master's degree in healthcare and an MBA from Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota.

In his new role, Mr. Sinotte will oversee the continued integration of services within Ingalls Memorial and UChicago Medicine and Ingalls Memorial's growth as a community provider for UChicago Medicine.

Ingalls Memorial became a part of UChicago Medicine's Community Health and Hospital Division in 2016. The division was created to ensure community hospitals that merge with UChicago Medicine will have a voice in the system while remaining an important part of their communities.
