Cleveland-based University Hospitals has tapped Robin Rowell to serve as president of UH Richmond Medical Center in Richmond Heights, Ohio, and UH Bedford (Ohio) Medical Center, according to cleveland.com.
Four things to know:
1. Ms. Rowell most recently served as vice president of community hospital program development at University Hospitals.
2. She started working at University Hospitals in 1991, initially providing care as a nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit at UH Cleveland Medical Center.
3. She has served in several leadership roles since joining, including associate system chief nursing officer for advanced practice providers.
4. Ms. Rowell succeeds Brian Monter, who left to serve as chief patient experience officer at UH Parma (Ohio) Medical Center.
