West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health appointed Arthur Nizza executive vice president and COO, according to Business Record.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Nizza is president and CEO of UnityPoint Health-Meriter in Madison, Wis.
2. He will continue as CEO of UnityPoint Health-Meriter in addition taking on the newly created COO position.
3. His previous roles include serving as the first president of MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
4. Sue Erickson, UnityPoint Health-Meriter's current COO, will serve as president of the hospital.
