Here are three things to know about Mr. Ahlers.
1. He will begin his new role Oct. 5.
2. Mr. Ahlers currently serves as CEO of Story County Medical Center in Nevada, Iowa.
3. Prior to his role at Story County Medical Center, Mr. Ahlers worked at MercyHospital in Iowa City for 10 years. He served in a variety of roles, including vice president of marketing and business development, director of specialty clinics, and director of marketing and community relations.
