UnityPoint Health-Des Moines (Iowa) named Mike Dewerff senior vice president and CFO, effective Sept. 17.

1. Mr. Dewerff most recently served as president and CEO of UnityPoint Health-Fort Dodge (Iowa), a role he has held since 2015.
2. He joined the Fort Dodge hospital in 2010 as CFO.
3. He was previously CFO at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa.
4. He served on Healthcare Financial Management Association's national board of directors from 2015 through 2017.
5. Mr. Dewerff holds an MBA from Wayne (Neb.) State College.
