UnityPoint Health Partners, the accountable care organization of West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health, is now under the leadership of David Williams, MD.
Here are three things to know about Dr. Williams.
1. He will serve as CEO of UnityPoint Health Partners in addition to his role as senior vice president of clinical integration and optimization.
2. In his vice president role, Dr. Williams is responsible for leading system quality, patient safety, patient experience, process excellence, analytics and information technology.
3. He succeeds Kevin Vermeer as CEO of Unity Health Partners. Mr. Vermeer now serves as president and CEO of UnityPoint Health.
