Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio, has appointed Unhee Kim, RN, president.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Kim.
1. Ms. Kim officially begins her new position Aug. 10.
2. Ms. Kim joins Mount Carmel from Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, where she served in a number of leadership roles for nearly 14 years. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of ambulatory services and Summa Physicians. Prior to Summa Health System, Ms. Kim held various leadership positions at University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland.
3. Ms. Kim received her Master of Business Administration from the Cleveland State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Akron and an Advanced Nurse Executive Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
4. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Organization of Nurse Executives and Healthcare Executives Association of Northeast Ohio, and has served on the board of several for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
