Raleigh, N.C.-based UNC Rex Healthcare has named Andrew Zukowski CFO, effective Aug. 22. Mr. Zukowski is the fourth CFO the health system has appointed since 2015, according to The News & Observer.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Zukowski.
1. He will take over for Jeff LeGay, the organization's interim CFO. Mr. LeGay replaced Erick Hawkins last January. Mr. Hawkins had replaced CFO Bernadette Spong, who left UNC Rex Healthcare in summer 2015 to become CFO of Orlando (Fla.) Health.
2. As CFO, Mr. Zukowski will help guide a health system with nearly $1 billion in annual revenue and more than 5,800 employees.
3. Mr. Zukowski joins UNC Rex Healthcare from the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, where he was a senior finance executive.
4. Mr. Zukowski was an accounting major at the University of Toledo (Ohio) and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. He went on to earn a master's degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
