Raleigh, N.C.-based UNC Rex Healthcare tapped Ernie Bovio to serve as COO, effective Sept. 2.
Here are three notes:
1. Mr. Bovio is currently CEO of High Point (N.C.) Regional Health, a role he has held since 2014.
2. He earned his master's degree in healthcare administration as well as his MBA from the University of Houston.
3. In his new role, Mr. Bovio will be responsible for UNC Rex's daily operations as well as joint venture relationships.
