Charlotte Wray has been appointed president of University Hospitals Elyria (Ohio) Medical Center, according to a report from The Morning Journal.
Here are five things to know about Ms. Wray.
1. Her appointment was effective Sept. 28.
2. Since 2009, she has served as UH Elyria Medical Center's vice president of clinical operations, information systems and chief clinical and information officer.
3. She also has held the roles of vice president of clinical operations; director of cardiovascular services and clinical informatics; nurse manager for critical care; and clinical nurse, intensive care unit.
4. Her work at the hospital includes spearheading a $40 million EMR project to unite three campuses of the hospital, various ambulatory facilities and numerous physician offices, according to the report.
5. Ms. Wray has a master's degrees in nursing and business administration and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
