Kristi Sink has been promoted from COO to president of University Hospitals Elyria (Ohio) Medical Center effective Oct. 15, according to The Chronicle.
Ms. Sink will replace Charlotte Wray, MSN, BSN, who is retiring after 27 years at UH Elyria, where she served as president since September 2015.
Ms. Sink joined University Hospitals in 2016 as COO of UH Parma Medical Center. She served as interim president of the hospital before recently moving to Elyria.
"I will sincerely miss my teams and work family at UH Elyria Medical Center," Ms. Wray said, according to The Chronicle. "They know they are very near and dear to my heart, as are the members of the community that I've served over the course of my tenure here. I am leaving them in very good hands with Kristi Sink. She is a great person and a strong leader. She will do a wonderful job!"
Ms. Sink holds a master's degree in health administration from Columbus, Ohio-based Ohio State University.
