Tunkhannock, Pa.-based Tyler Memorial Hospital has named Ann Marie Stevens CEO, effective immediately.
Here are six things to know about Ms. Stevens.
1. She was serving as interim CEO of Tyler Memorial before taking on the role permanently.
2. She has a strong background in critical care, working in management roles in both the emergency department and the intensive care unit.
3. She previously was CEO of Peckville, Pa.-based Mid Valley Hospital for 14 years, ultimately working to transition the facility to serve the community as Mid Valley Outpatient Center.
4. Prior to her tenure as CEO of Mid Valley Hospital, she was director of nursing at Mid Valley Hospital.
5. More recently, she served as a special project manager at Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) General Hospital.
6. Ms. Stevens earned a bachelor's degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre.
