Cincinnati-based staffing firm Health Carousel has named Earl Dalton, BSN, RN, as its first CNO.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Dalton.
1. He has more than two decades of acute hospital experience.
2. Before Health Carousel, Mr. Dalton was director of emergency services for TriHealth's Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
3. Mr. Dalton previously was the director of emergency and critical care services at Duke University Health System in Durham, N.C.
4. At Health Carousel, he will provide guidance and best practices from his nursing leadership experience "to enable the company to better serve its healthcare professionals and customers," company officials said.
5. Mr. Dalton's appointment represents the latest executive addition for Health Carousel. In 2016 alone, Health Carousel has added a CFO, general counsel, a chief people officer and now a CNO. To accommodate its new talent, the company will open its fourth office location this summer.
