Georgetown, S.C.-based Tidelands Health has named Beth Ward executive vice president and CFO, effective March 31.
A certified public accountant, Ms. Ward has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance. She is currently CFO of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center University Hospitals and Clinics in Dallas. Before joining UT Southwestern, she was executive vice president and CFO of Wellmont Health System in Kingsport, Tenn.
"Beth is an exemplary leader with a proven record of strong, decisive financial management," said Tidelands President and CEO Bruce Bailey. "Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated excellence and achieved superior results."
Ms. Ward will succeed Terry Kiser, who is retiring after serving as CFO of Tidelands since 1988.
