The Memorial Hospital of Salem (N.J.) County selected Tammy Torres, MSN, DNP, RN, to serve as permanent CEO, according to a SNJ Today report.
Here are four notes:
1. For the last few months, Ms. Torres served as the hospital's interim CEO.
2. She came to The Memorial Hospital of Salem County from Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa., where she was chief nursing officer/COO.
3. She previously worked with Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, serving in numerous roles such as chief nursing officer/COO of Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.
4. Ms. Torres completed her doctor of nursing practice degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
