The Hospitals of Providence-Transmountain Campus, based in El Paso, Texas, named Gustavo Martell, MD, CMO, according to an El Paso Herald-Post report.

1. Dr. Martell will serve in his new role as an employee of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, which indicates the collaboration between the TTUHSC and The Hospitals of Providence.
2. An obstetrics and gynecology physician, he completed his residency at Texas Tech Regional Academic Health Sciences Center in El Paso, now known as Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.
3. In his new role, Dr. Martell will serve as a liaison between the hospital's clinical staff and the administration, while also overseeing medical operations across the hospital.
