The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, Texas, tapped Phil Young to serve as CEO, according to an El Paso Times report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Most recently, Mr. Young was CEO of transitional facilities for Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health.
2. Prior to that, he was CEO and market president of LifePoint's Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, based in Winchester.
3. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston.
4. He succeeds Nicholas Tejeda, who left to serve as CEO of The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus in El Paso.
