The Tennessee Hospital Association has selected Will Cromer to serve as executive vice president and COO.
Most recently, Mr. Cromer worked at Nashville, Tenn.-based Russell Street Ventures, a venture capital firm. He also previously worked at the state's Medicaid agency, TennCare, where he served as a deputy director and chief of staff.
Additionally, Mr. Cromer was Gov. Bill Haslam’s special assistant for strategy and policy director.
"Will's previous experience as a leader in state government and at TennCare make him an excellent fit for THA," Wendy Long, MD, Tennessee Hospital Association president and CEO, said in a news release. "His work across a variety of disciplines, including finance, strategy and policy, will serve our members and staff well as THA continues working to ensure access to quality, affordable and effective healthcare for the people of Tennessee."
Mr. Cromer succeeds Mary Layne Van Cleave, who is retiring.
