Tennessee Hospital Association announced the appointment of Reginald Coopwood, MD, as chairman of the board of directors.
Currently, Dr. Coopwood serves as president and CEO of Regional Medical Center at Memphis (Tenn.).
The association also selected Mark Medley, president of hospital operations at Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare as chairman-elect of the board. Joe Landsman, president and CEO of University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, became immediate past chairman.
