John Gardner will begin serving as the Telluride (Colo.) Hospital District's CEO in June, according to a Telluride Daily Planet report.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Gardner.
1. He is currently CEO of Yuma (Colo.) District Hospital.
2. In his new role, he will guide the Telluride Hospital District as it builds a 40,000-square-foot regional medical center, either at the chosen site in Mountain Village, Colo., or another location, according to the report.
3. Mr. Gardner will replace Gordon Reichard, who announced his retirement in February.
4. Mr. Gardner earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in health administration from the University of Colorado, based in Boulder.
