Ted Shaw has been named CFO and associate vice president for medical financial affairs for University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and UHealth-University of Miami Health System.
Mr. Shaw, who is a certified public accountant and a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, has served in various leadership capacities within the healthcare industry.
Most recently, he was partner with Dallas-based Financial Resource Group, a position from which he was contracted to serve as interim CFO and interim COO for Jackson Health System in Miami. During this time, he also served as chief transition officer in charge of overseeing the health system's change in chief executive officers.
His appointment was effective Nov. 14.
