President and CEO Hugh Greene of Baptist Health, which is based in Jacksonville, Fla., has also been elected to serve as 2011-2012 chairman of the Florida Hospital Association, according to a DOTmed news report.
Mr. Greene serves in a number of civic leadership capacities, including as the 2011 chair of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Trustees for University of North Florida. In his role as chair of the Florida Hospital Association, Mr. Greene is responsible for leading advocacy issues on behalf of Florida hospitals at the state and federal level.
