Morgan City, La.-based Teche Regional Medical Center dropped the 'interim' from CEO Aphreikah DuHaney-West's title, according to a St. Mary Now report.
Ms. DuHaney-West became interim CEO in December 2017. She came to Teche Regional from Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, La., and Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La., where she served as COO. She also previously served as chief nursing officer of Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and of Logan (Va.) Regional Medical Center.
Ms. DuHaney-West is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was selected by the American Organization of Nurse Executives to serve as a nurse executive delegate to Cuba.
Teche Regional Medical Center is a part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health's Western Group.
