Julia Truman has been named COO of MultiCare's Tacoma (Wash.) General Hospital, according to The News Tribune.

1. She is a 15-year healthcare veteran.
2. She joins Tacoma General from Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) Medical Center.
3. At Fort Walton Beach Medial, Ms. Truman was vice president of operations and served as the head of human resources.
